Digital Illustrations

I based this off a tutorial in @julii.draws delightful book, Cute and Cosy Drawing. I don't speak German, but the book is clearly organised and illustrated throughout. Translating the instructions by phone is also a good excuse to slow down and enjoy exploring the ideas. I like that the book caters to digital, watercolour and gouache approaches.

This was a great excuse to pick up my drawing tablet again. Being more comfortable with a physical pencil, I struggle with a simpler style. This was a really nice bluerprint for what will hopefully be the first of many illustrations in this style.
