Iâll take your best pirate/cyborg jokes pleaseð Just been discharged after day surgery for PVD (Posterior Vitreous Detachment), a very common eye condition that happens to most people over the age of 65 and doesnât usually require surgery but the pressure and sudden blood in my eye was a cause for concern. Went to the hospital on Saturday and was seen by a Consultant the same day with an op scheduled within a week. The staff have been fantastic. Back tomorrow for the follow up. Got to love our #nhs â¤ï¸#loveournhs
