I’ve been binge watching the Lost In Space 2018 reboot on @netflix with my parents and - aside from only just discovering after 35 years that my dad likes sci-fi - I have to say it’s pretty spectacular! I can tell my dad is excited about it since he’s mentioned it to both his friend and the Uber driver, and discussed over dinner how the Enterprise crew (Star Trek) would handle the same problems😂

I’ve seen some unfair reviews however I’ve nothing but praise for what I’ve seen so far (6 episodes into a 10 episode first season). The casting is SO good and refreshingly diverse, with similarities and surprises compared to the 60s original, not to mention so many sassy quips between the young members of the Robinson family😂

The Robot is freaking awesome 🤖 and the technology is chunky and the alien world simply beautiful, while Dr Smith is devilishly duplicitous. I never cared for the character in the original, finding him far too sleazy, but in the reboot she is so good at playing mind games with the other characters.
