We went to see @thersc production of The Tempest last night and it was incredible. The cast all gave powerful performances, particularly Mark Quartley as Ariel who had us spellbound with his dreamlike movements, mirrored in his various motion-captured avatars. The shipwreck set design was huge and, combined with clever projection technology, really came alive. The technology worked extremely well. So well, in fact, that it was easy to read the burning feast and swirling sands on the floor as really there but it never detracted from the performance. Highly recommmendedð #shakespeare #thetempest
