I’ve been thinking for a few days now that it’s time for a change.
I liked the minimal black theme but, as Falling pointed out, it makes it difficult to read the text on top of it. I became increasingly aware of this as I wrote that last post!
I finally clicked the link to upgrade my blog so now I get a few more options regarding layout and colour schemes. It still seems a bit fixed as, depending on the theme you choose certain elements can’t be moved, however I think this is where messing about in html comes in and I think you can develop your own themes too.
I don’t really have the patience for all that right now but I did put an image in the header and tweaked the page colours to make it suit. I also changed a little html to get the gradient on the header, revert to the default bullet points on my lists (which incidentally don’t show up in Safari anyway), and to tweak the spacing between posts.
You’ll also notice i’ve added more lists now. These are just the start and i’ll be populating them more as time goes on. I may tweak some other stuff on this blog in the near future so keep your eyes peeled.
